Using Hal Pad To Speak Documents Out Loud Ultra Hal Assistant can read your documents out loud for you. This can be useful for
proof reading your documents. Hal is able to open text files and rich text files. You may
also copy and paste documents into Hal. To start Hal Pad, simply click on the menu
button and select "Read a document out loud" You will get a window like this: You may open a document by clicking "File" then "Open" You may also copy and paste
text into Hal or you may simply type text. Hal will read the document out loud when you
click on "Speech" and "Speak Document Out Loud". You may stop Hal's speech at any
time by simply pushing the stop button. You may make changes to the document just like
you would with a regular text editor. If you would like to save the file simply click on
"file" and then "save". You may print the file if you click on "file" and "print". You may
change Hal's speaking voice by clicking on "Speech Settings" and then select a voice.
