Using Hal Pad For Dictation

Ultra Hal Assistant uses speech recongition which enables you to dictate spoken words to him. To start dictation click on "Speech" and then click on "Begin Dictation". Then start speaking into your computer's microphone to dictate the spoken words into Hal. You just need to first make sure that you have the Speech Recognition option enabled in Hal's "Speech Settings" for things to work.

After you finish dictating to Hal you can click on the "Stop" icon or you

click "Speech" and then click on "Stop Dictation". You can also click on the

"Microphone" icon to just pause the dictation session and then click on the "Micorphone" icon again to resume the dictation session. The "Microphone" icon toggles your computer's microphone on and off.

After you completed dictating your entire document to Hal all you have to do is just save it by clicking on "File" and then click on "Save" or "Save As".
